Located on the hills of Castagnola, in one of the most exclusive locations overlooking Lake Lugano, Villa Tree was designed as a private residence with 7.5 rooms and interprets contemporary living through a strong connection with the landscape. Its commanding position guarantees privacy and open panoramic views, transforming the lake and mountains into a true backdrop for the architecture.
The project, designed by Linear 77 in collaboration with architect Softa, stands out for its sculptural architectural language, in which the volume is shaped by perspective cuts and glimpses that reveal new details from every angle. The choice of materials is central: structural laminated wood, used throughout the above-ground structure, and natural stone covering the facades, walls, and floors, creating a fluid continuity between interior and exterior and reinforcing the connection with the natural context. The spacious and bright interior spaces open up to the outside with an open-plan living area that interacts with the furnished terrace, the bioclimatic pergola, and the infinity pool, designed as a natural extension of the living space. The sleeping areas, distributed over different levels, offer comfort, privacy, and privileged views, while the basement floors discreetly integrate technical and service functions.
Equipped with advanced home automation and tailor-made solutions, Villa Tree represents a balanced synthesis of technology, natural materials, and spatial quality, establishing itself as an iconic, high-end residence where architecture and landscape merge into a unique living experience.
