The Nest rises on the Montagnola promontory at a point where the landscape opens up in every direction: upstream, the Montagnola park and the woods towards Agra; to the west, the daily life of the square and the school center; downstream, a wide horizon that embraces Pian Scairolo, Monte San Salvatore, and Lake Lugano. A location suspended between nature and amenities, offering tranquility and connection to the city.
The project stems from the desire to blend harmoniously into the landscape, giving shape to a complex consisting of two distinct but complementary volumes: a multi-family residence with four apartments and a single-family villa, for a total volume of approximately 15,326 m³.
The essential geometries and roofs treated as green backdrops, integrated with photovoltaic panels, define a sustainable architecture in perfect dialogue with the territory. The anthracite porcelain stoneware surfaces alternate with large glass openings equipped with triple-glazed windows and glass parapets, ensuring brightness, thermal insulation, and visual continuity with the landscape. The outdoor spaces, enriched with native plants, and the common areas between the two buildings become shared places for socializing. The interiors reflect the same attention to quality and sustainability, while dedicated amenities such as the indoor pool and gym complete the idea of wellness-oriented living.
The Nest offers itself as a contemporary, elegant, and private retreat from which to experience Montagnola from a broad and privileged perspective.
